(Vancouver BC) – Due to an overwhelming response to update the 2008 First Nations Salary Survey, the Aboriginal Financial Officers Association of BC (AFOA BC) board of directors has approved the development of a BC First Nations Salary Survey Report: 2010 Edition.
Mike Mearns, General Manager for AFOA of BC says the First Nations salary survey deadline has been extended to March 31, 2011.
“We are hoping to get a stronger response from our target audience for the development of the 2010 BC First Nations Salary Survey Report,” Mearns said. “We are aware of the time it takes to complete but please keep in mind the more participants, the more accurate the survey results.”
The purpose of this study is to develop a comprehensive 2010 Survey Report that identifies salary ranges for approximately 40 common positions employed by First Nations, Tribal Councils, and Aboriginal Health/Family Service Organizations located in British Columbia.
